Wreath Making Workshop with the wonderful the wonderful Swaffham and Fakenham Florists!
They are back! The wonderful Swaffham and Fakenham Florist Ladies will be lugging their wares up the spiral staircase of Ely Cathedral to run a very Christmassy Christmas Wreath Making workshop in the education workshop space of the Stain Glass Museum looking down into Ely Cathedral.
The enormous Christmas tree will be decorated as we work and we can hope for some Christmas carol singers practising for some additional Christmas spirit, otherwise, we’ll have to sing our own carols!
All materials supplied, you just have to bring a smile and some Christmas spirit! (Mulled wine will be provided. For those thinking I’m referring to actual hard liquor- I know what you’re like, as soon as you’re away from the kids….! hee!)
Price is £50 and includes everything you need, foliage, ribbons, baubles, spray, spices, oranges, you name it, and refreshments too!

They are back! The wonderful I Make Knots ladies are returning with another knotted workshop for us to enjoy! This time they will be helping us to make some very ‘in vogue’ hanging plant holders (because I know how trendy you all want to be)and Mummas&More have teamed up with Thyme of St Marys Florists to supply you with a beautiful plant to pop in it to take home too. So join us for a three hour workshop, learn some crochet and knitting skills, relax with other like-minded mummas, admire your new plant, be inspired by all the coloured materials, eat lots of cake and drink copious amounts of tea! See you there!

Little Blue Tit Needle Felting Workshop

Spend a tranquil day in the company of mummas, quietly creating a beautiful needle felted blue bird with the wonderful Lady Moth. Well, ok you don’t have to be that quiet but doesn’t it sound bliss?! During the workshop you will make a completed blue tit bird and work with quality star needles with a variety of different wool. All tools and materials supplied, and so all you need to bring is yourself!
The Lady Moth is the creation of Polish artist Zenia, whose work is inspired by nature and woodland creatures. Each piece takes hours to complete with a huge amount of care and detail given to each creation. This workshop will give you a chance to try these techniques. Join us for a morning of creative making with the wonderful I Make Knots. Treat yourself to a morning of making, chatting, and eating cake! You will make two necklaces and learn new knitting and crochet skills.
I Make Knots is run by Riannon Selcuk who describes herself as a Knot
enthusiast and she runs chunky knit and crochet workshops in London and beyond, including festivals, events and fairs. She has worked with people such as Seasaltcornwall and Kirsty Allsops craft fairs to name but a few!
This workshop is something just for mummas, so no babies please. So take time out for you and enjoy some creative fun making necklaces and drinking a hot cup of tea with a yummy slice of cake!
